Only NY
Only New York is a Manhattan-based brand. Only New York has a wide range of clothing and accessories (their website) t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, vests, jackets, snap backs and bags. Only New York has taken a lot of thought into producing their clothing, and everything has been made with the utter most detail. ONLY NY’s signature wear is aesthetic and has a classic 90’s vibe, with the simple yet detailed designs. I assume we can expect big things from this Manhattan-based brand , as demand for their clothing becomes higher as the storm though the fashion industry.
They have a few problems, as i find that their designs are too simple and are duplicated from previous drop items. Only NY need to step up their game if they want to continue to stay in the business and produce more original ideas.
Supreme x COMME des GARCONS
The Collaboration between these two clothing line features a simple retro polka dot.
This collaboration draws attention to the eyes as it seems to incorporates the modern retro look of Supreme, along side with the simple yet effective reversing of the Supreme logo emblazoned across a range menswear shirts, polka dot t-shirts and hoodies. This is a statement of pushing the boundaries of fashion which founder Rei Kawakubo (COMME des GARCONS) has been trying to achieve.
The Clothing produced doesn’t seem to have any flaws in my opinion, and the thought and ideas that have gone into the design show off in the clothing. - Jono Leach
